Spanish Pilot in Germany

Guten Abend

First of all sorry if this is not the best place for this topic, and second because I know it's a german web and I'm writing in english.

Actually I live in UK, but on September I'm moving to Hamburg. I allways wanted to live in Germany, since I'm a child, so in a few months it's done.

The reason of this topic is that I'd like to know how is the situation in your country. I know it's been a bad year for everything/everywhere, but I've allways thought that german economy is stronger than the rest.

I'm learning german every evening with a private teacher, now for 5 months, and obviously I'll have to expend a lot of time improving it in Hamburg.

So, once I have the german level required, and knowing that I just have 300h (ATPL Frozen), do you think it's posible to find a job? may be general aviation or small cargo acft..?.Here in UK it's very very difficult, and in Spain it's imposible. I'm 28 years old and I feel like if this was my last chance to join a company.

Fluent German is in most German companies a requirement! Especially in this times where there are thousands of applicants for only a few jobs.
Maybe in better times when they need everybody with a license.

It also lists all the mayor German Airlines. Fluent German is a requirement in most cases, once you are fluent, you should try to get in touch with https://www.interpersonal.de/ it is the biggest agency to match pilots and airlines in the German speaking zone.

Sure circumstances aren't the best, but there is always a way.

Thanks for your answers. I already know those webs, they're quite interestings!, unfortunately my german level is still very poor to apply anywhere. Also Aerologic asks for 1.000h MPA, and I have just 300h.

I hope that next spring, in 2.011, I could find a pilot job, it would be great to find one in general aviation as a first job, B200, Fairchild Metro, etc....I think it's a great beggining, and hopefully there will be some vacancies in that time!.

My hopes are in Germany, that's for sure, I'm working hard and I will continue improving mine Deutsch.

Don't hesitate to apply even if you don't have the hours. Just send your resume and point out that you don't have the hours and tell them you are applying anyways just in case they lower the demanded hours...

I'll do it Cremaster!, if you don't try it you'll never know it's true....but in this case, Aerologic, brand new 777....for sure they won't recruit pilots without jet experience

5.000 Jet / >50 t
1.500 LR/WB

(for "accelerated command")
