Does anyone know at what age, if it all, independent children of Lufthansa crew members are no longer allowed to take advantage of the "ID75" standby ticket benefit?

I've heard it takes place once the independent child turns 28. Can anyone confirm this?

First of all, these internal information could be found in LH intranet "ebase" if you are entitled to use LH ID flights. Sorry for not disclosing it here.

The LH rules are not based on "independet" child but on the parental status of such child (own, adopted...).

The age you mentioned cannot be found in LH travel rules. End usually earlier but there several exceptions to such rules listed.

Furthermore, there is no "ID 75" due to zone tarriffs.
