Is MFA Munich Flight Academy Scam?

Hi everybody,
I wanted to ask you a question. Is MFA Munich Flight Academy is a good place to start PPL?

They are very hard to reach via phone or email. I somehow reached their head of training, but he answered as "I dont know about PPL or ATPL, didn't somebody from the company answer to you..".

Finally, they answered my meeting request to get informed about the PPL training, but they offered me 3 options in the e-mail:

1- Contact to Head of Training. (As I wrote, tried him, nothing worked)
2- Enroll to our "ONLY" theory and pay to our IBAN. You can do distance learning. (No explanation about what kind of distance learning, CAT e-learning or online course or what?)
3- Pay us 349€ to make a personal appointment with a discovery flight. If you enroll in 7 days, it's for free. If not, well you paid for face to face meeting and 1h flying.

Isn't this a scam? Is it even legal? They are not meeting with you in person unless you pay and you get very limited information via email.

My German is not enough for flying and I am looking for a flight school around Augsburg where I can get trained in English.

Yeah, wanted to ask you if you had any good/bad experiences with MFA.

I have a bad feeling when you mention MFA!

I would NOT do the training there. Reach out for FFH (main base STR, but also active in Augsburg). Other than that there is also AeroBeta in STR e.g.
