Dear all,

Getting to grips with the cbt.

What is the opinion towards purchasing Skytest just to practice the MIC?
With the time they give you to get comfortable with it, is it worth the investment? Since, on the other hand, given it´s a really intense day, it might be handy to practice before hand?

My concern is, is the Skytest exactly the same as the real MIC?

I would not recommend purchasing Skytest for the DLR-Test, especially not just for MIC.
You get 40 minutes to get used to the controls etc., introducing the instruments step by step, so you are well prepared for the actual test right after the practice.

It is really not a complicated test, and practicing might give you a wrong perception of the controls, as your personal joystick is most likely calibrated differently thus reacting quicker (at DLR, the joystick is reeeaaaally slow).
