London, Frankfurt, Singapore, Johannesburg und Abu Dhabi sind definitiv voll. Sind halt noch Plätze in Sydney, Toronto und New York frei.

Habe hier paar Infos im I-net gefunden (.pprune.org) wie der Assessment Day bei einem Bewerben verlaufen ist:

For those who want to know...

The process after applying is:

- wait for email regarding details of the assessment and location. It should be with you roughly a month before the assessment

- complete the assessment and receive a 'maybe' email or a 'no' email regarding results of that assessment.

- then wait another couple of weeks for the 'yes' or 'no' email which should include more information about the next stage in abu dhabi

- soon further, and usually entirley accurate, details regarding the second stage will be sent

- stage 2 will will consist of hand-eye co-ordination testing, further aptitude testing and the interview will be on the last or second to last day

- if you are successful you will be recalled for a medical after you have returned to your country of residence and in the meanwhile a security clearance will be carried out on you. You will receive a phone call, usually 1 to 2 weeks after the interview date if you are successfull. If you don't receive a phone call then it is likely they will email you.

I hope this gets rid of some of the unknowns about the process. I am only going by the process that I went through over the last few months. I know they have tweaked the selection process a little bit with regards to supplying your CV straight away but if that's the only tweak then it should be a similar process again. I was unfortunately unsuccessful but I will definitely be applying again.

For those who are hesitant, or even pesimistic, about the process, or your chances, I would seriously advise you to just go for it. You have nothing to lose and you will gain valuable experience. You will get to meet people who are 'in the same boat' as well.

With regards to the South African who asked whether he could apply before attaining his Matric; I would send them an email and ask, or you could PM EYZ as he is usually pretty knowledgable regarding the process. I would imagine, however, that you need a high school diploma or equivalent so if you haven't got your Matric yet then I don't think it would be sufficient. I hope this helps.
