P.S to your quote on motivation, lets just say that Mr X passed the test at LH/AB and did NO preperation whatsoever .. he simply went on the day, did his stuff and was sucessful. Does this mean that he is NOT as motivated as someone who had to spend 3 hours every day for 6 months learning??? I ask this because a friend of mine at LH did get a place, but did no preparation at all. That said, he really is one fo the most intelligent persons i have ever met in my life

the test is definetely not easier. it's simply different. there are some people, who even say, that the AB test is more complicated than the LH one.

I bought the Skytest AB version yesterday and all i can say is .... OMG. On day one (today) i have an average of 30% .... something tells me i need to spend more time in front of my computer hacking these tests! To be honest, i do find tests here a little bit easier to "digest". What would be really helpful though, is to know what i will be tested on. I have read 2 Erfahrungsberichte here and from what i can tell, the following things will be tested:
finding how many "68s" in a row of numbers
Standard Maths tests (kopfrechnen, aber nix zu schwer, da man kein Rechner haben darf)
english tests (the one test i hope to get the most marks on!)
Physics (again, a little bit like Maths and not to hard because of the lack of calculator)
Multitask (a little bit like flight sim... only the 1995 version lol)
Optische Wahrnehmung (counting cars and planes and testing speed)
Logical Reasoning (balancing things on a see-saw)
Technisches Verständis (i intend on looking at moch-atpl test papers)


What i personally find totally imposible (and i mean impossible) is to look at these little cubes, put them together and then say what they look like. This is the total horror for me!

dont underrate multitasking. graphics may look like FS95, but you have to do 4 things simultaneously.
the task with cubes really isnt too easy, but with a little practice... you mean the disassembled cube you have to assign to another one?!

up, genau die,,, hoffentlich ist das nicht dabei sonst würde ich wirklich in Schwerigkeiten stehen! Ich habe die Multi-tasking Tests nicht versucht, das würde ich allerdings in die nächsten Tagen probieren. Hast du auch Skytest? Mit dem "der Pilotentest" Buch, bekommt man auch eine CD: die Tests da sind auch gut.
